MERCILESS KAMWENDO AND CHIGAULA KNOCK OUT BANGWE
Former Bangwe All Stars defender, Talandira Chigaula scored as early as two minutes as former Bangwe All Stars' assistant coach, Joseph Kamwendo, guided Creck Sporting Club to a merciless hammering 1-4 on Bangwe All Stars at the Balaka Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts needed nothing but a win in a case that FOMO FC has not won their game against Karonga United but Chigaula headed home inside two before a goal from Gift Kadawati and two from Muhammad Sulumba to seal the win.
Head coach for the team, Joseph Kamwendo, said his team had no option but to come hard on Bangwe as they wanted to cement their place in the top 8.
"We knew we will face a strong team which needed a win in order to stay in the League but we also wanted to end in top 8 so we had no option but to win." Said Kamwendo.
Following the result, the team has ended on number 6 in the League with 42 points from 30 games played this season.
