"IT WILL TAKE TIME TO FIND SOMEONE LIKE FELIX ZULU" - KAYIRA
Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder, Chimango Kayira, has hailed Mighty Mukuru Wanderers midfielder, Felix Zulu, saying he is one of the country's best midfielders despite not having time at the National team.
Chimango wrote this on his Facebook page saying Zulu is one of the players he used to prepare for when he was going for the Blantyre Derby during his playing time.
"One of the important elements during my mental preparations were how to deal with Felix Zulu who usually sat on a double pivot with Captain Manyozo. His energy tanks and tactical awareness to give balance to a midfield has always been his greatest assets." Wrote Kayira.
He further, saluted the Nomads vice captain, who is nicknamed 'N'golo Kante' saying his partnership with Blessings Singini in the recent Blantyre Derby was outstanding and that I the Nomads will miss him once he leaves the stage.
"Fans may tend to treat such performances as nothing special but trust me that it may take a long time to get someone like him when he retires. He might not have harnessed the wind at national team level but he goes down the history as one of the few locals that made nomads smile over the years." Added the Bullets Youth coach.
Zulu came from the ranks of the Nomads Reserve side and made his senior debut against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the Charity Shield in 2016 as a Winger but years later, he was shifted to the central midfield.
