GOLDEN CHAIR: KALIATI WINS GOLDEN BOOT
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers midfielder, Isaac Kaliati, has won the golden boot award of the 2024 TNM Super League season after scoring 17 goals in 27 games this season.
The midfielder has been in top form this season carrying the Nomads on to his shoulders to finish Second in the League despite problems that saw the team having its two coaches leaving the team.
On Saturday, Kaliati scored one goal as the Nomads beat Moyale Barracks 1-2 at the Mzuzu Stadium to win his 7th player of the match award, that's more than anyone in the team.
He also adds up to 9 assists this season meaning he has had 26 goal involvements in 27 games.
He will pocket K2 million for winning the award and he is also a favourite to win the player of the season award following his impressive performances.

KALIATI EARNS COACHES PRAISE
Red hot midfielder, Isaac Kaliati, has been named as an important player to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers this season after his impressive performance is dragging the Nomads to Championship race.
This has been said by the team's Deputy coach, Bob Mpinganjira, who said they are happy with how the player is performing in the current season after he netted five goals and three assists in their 10-0 win over Baka City.
Mpinganjira said, "He is having a very good season and he is sharp. In most of the chances that he is getting he is scoring and we are happy with what he is doing."
The player is currently leading the scoring chart as he has 14 goals and second on most assists with 7, one behind Macdonald Lameck of Silver Strikers and his teammate Gaddie Chirwa.
The 26 year old has already won 6 player of the match awards this season and two player of the month award at Wanderers which puts him on a pole position to win the player of the season award.
KALIATI WINS SECOND POTM AWARD
Red hot Isaac Kaliati continues to enjoy his season after winning his second player of the month award after beating his other three teammates on votes.
This has been revealed on Saturday afternoon when he was awarded for the month of August at half time of the Nomads 10-0 win over Baka City at the Kamuzu Stadium.
He has walked away with K300,000 from Pemba Rubber stamp and will have a driving school course at Pemba Driving school amounting to K700,000 of which he will have a relative or friend to attend.
Meanwhile, he was also named the player of the match after netting five goals and assisting three goals against Baka City.
He is now the League's top goal scorer with 14 goals and 7 assists, two ahead of Zeliat Nkhoma of Kamuzu Barracks.
KALIATI NEARS SECOND POTM AWARD
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers midfielder, Isaac Kaliati, is nearing to grab his second player of the month award this season at the team as he leads the votes for the August award.
The 26 year old was nominated following his impressive outing in the month that saw him scoring 4 goals and providing an assist, winning two man of the match awards in five games for the Nomads.
Nicknamed Chair, he leads the votes on the team's WhatsApp channel with 2,300 plus votes and his closest competitor is William Thole who has 580 votes. Lawrence Chaziya and Blessings Singini are very far as they have 252 and 223 votes respectively.
He has one award already for the month of June and also boosts with five man of the match awards in the TNM Super League, only Sam Gunda and Zeliat Nkhoma of Kamuzu Barracks match him.
Other winners for the award at Mighty Mukuru Wanderers are Wisdom Mpinganjira in May, Blessings Singini in June and Sama Thierry Tanjong in August.
Five BE FORWARD Wanderers players have extended their stay at the club.
The five are; Alfred Manyozo, Lucky Malata, Stanley Sanudi, Isaac Kaliati and Richard Chipuwa.
